We are also highly active in ensuring that our members’ interests are promoted vigorously to government and parliament. We regularly raise important issues in support of our customers’ rights when these are affected by unfair or inefficient legislation or administration. Many of our ideas attract wide support. We will continue to raise awareness of issues that need to be dealt with in order to improve the operation of the compliance market.
We encourage our members to participate actively in this process through a committee elected from our membership. The Wastepack Members Committee represents the interests of our broad range of customers.
