Our general approach is to provide innovative, commercial solutions that reflect the needs of our customers for low hassle compliance with clarity on the true price, rather than vague forecasts
Companies selling household products (B2C)
We are in a strong competitive position in the B2C sector due to our positive relationships with Local Authorities, collection facility (DCF) operators and recyclers. We contract for all necessary costs such as payments to DCFs, transport to treatment centres, treatment and recycling, purchase of evidence certificates and environmentally sound disposal of residues. This avoids unwelcome cost surprises. In some circumstances we can offer a fixed and guaranteed price per tonne of obligation for businesses requiring certainty for the year ahead.
Companies selling to business users (B2B)
Unlike many of our competitors we do not seek upfront payments to cover costs that may or may not arise in the future. Customers only pay for what they actually have to take back, when it happens. Our approach provides operational choices in the way B2B take back is handled and is flexible to meet the needs of each sector or company. Where customers already have take back arrangements in place, we are happy to work within that process, subject to our audit of its compliance.
Distributors/retailers of household products (B2C)
We can review and advise whether it is financially and commercially best for a business to join the Distributor Take Back Scheme (DTS) or to offer a take back service to customers. We are able to provide assistance in implementing either decision.
