Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF)
An authorised treatment facility (AATF) is a treatment facility that has been approved by the appropriate authority under the Regulations to issue Evidence Notes for WEEE treated within the UK.

Approved Exporter (AE)
An exporter who has been approved by the the appropriate authority under the Regulations to issue Evidence Notes for WEEE that is exported out of the UK for treatment, recovery and recycling is known as an Approved Exporter (AE)

Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF)
An authorised treatment facility (ATF) is a facility that treats WEEE in accordance with the requirements of the WEEE Directive. ATFs are authorised under the WEEE Regulations (or Scottish and Northern Ireland equivalents) however they do not have approval to issue Evidence Notes
