The Wastepack Members' Committee provides a 'voice' for members to air their views and opinions on a wide range of topics concerning the Packaging Waste Regulations and other environmental issues.
It also provides us with an established consultation forum for issues such as legislation changes and how these will affect our members. The Committee strengthens communication within the Scheme and enables us to put forward views and opinions to influential parties when we are lobbying on behalf of our members.
Any member can nominate themselves at any time to take an active part in the Committee. If the nomination is approved there will be the opportunity to join in meetings which take place three times a year. New members are always welcome as we seek to have a good cross section of sectors within the packaging industry namely manufacturing, converting, pack/filling, selling and importing.
